Structure and Format Infomation
It is the responsibility of the League Managers (sysops) to contact the Data Manager with all updates to this information.
Format
The pyramid will consist of 6 tiers as follows:
Tier 1 - 1 squad
Tier 2 - 2 squads
Tier 3 - 4 squads
Tier 4 - 8 squads
Tier 5 - 16 squads
Tier 6 - 32 squads
Regular Season
Reguar season is 17 rounds. Each team will be automatically matched up with the team with the closest w/l ratio, +/-, followed by h2h.
1 spot in each tier will be made available every week. The top team in each tier will challenge the bottom tier in tier above and so forth. Every other team will play other teams within their own tier with a similar w/l ratio. If w/l ratio is tied amongst 2+ teams, +/- will be used to determine the matchups.
*Note that h2h has precedent over +/- for seeding in playoffs.
*There will be no "challenge" matchups during the first 5 weeks of the regular season. Squads will vacate empty spots in tiers above as they improve their record.
*No team will play another team 2 weeks consecutively regardless of any rules unless there is discretion from the league manager(s).
